Use at your own risk
OptVeg provides nutritional guidance and recipe suggestions for general informational purposes only. We are NOT a medical or dietetic service. The content is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have a medical condition, allergies, or any specific dietary requirement, consult your GP or registered dietitian before making changes to your diet based on our suggestions.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure nutritional and cost data is accurate (sourced from M&W CoFID, USDA FDC, and curated UK supermarket data), but we make no warranty of completeness or freshness. Always read the actual ingredient list and allergen warnings on the products you buy.
What you can do
You can use the web preview to search and view our 500+ curated swaps for personal, non-commercial use. You can sign up for launch emails. You can ask us to delete your email at any time.
What you can't do
You can't scrape, mirror, or republish our data, designs, or generated content without written permission. You can't use OptVeg to defame, harass, or break the law. You can't attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the search API.

Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to OptVeg is limited to £100. We're a small operation; this isn't legal cleverness, it's a real cap so we can keep running.
Changes
We may update these terms; if we do, we'll change the date above. Substantial changes get an email to anyone on the launch list. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
